Frequently asked questions
Everyday care, clearly explained
A quick guide to safety, allergies, illness and the practical services included in your child’s day.
Child safetyHow does Kindy4Kids keep children safe?
Children are actively supervised and remain in supervised areas. Gates and doors must be closed, authorised collection procedures apply, and a staff member with current first aid qualifications is on the premises. Our child protection, emergency and incident procedures are available from the centre.
AllergiesWhat should I tell the centre about allergies?
Please record allergies and special dietary requirements on the enrolment form and speak with the Nominated Supervisor. Individual medical or dietary documentation may be required so the team can plan appropriate care.
IllnessWhat happens when my child is unwell?
If a child becomes unwell at the centre, we contact the people listed on the enrolment form and supervise the child away from other children while they wait to be collected. Please notify the centre by 9:30 am when your child will be absent and keep all contact and medical information current.
Included servicesWhat is included in the daily fee?
Breakfast, morning tea, a freshly cooked lunch, afternoon tea, a late snack, milk, water, nappies and sunscreen are provided. Families supply labelled clothing, a sun hat, a water bottle, rest-time comfort items and any bottles or formula their child needs.
Parent HandbookWhere can I read the full policies?
The 2026 Parent Handbook contains fuller information about food, health, medication, hygiene, fees, CCS, child protection and safety.
