Child Care Subsidy
Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is an Australian Government payment that can reduce the childcare fees eligible families pay.
How CCS works
Services Australia assesses your eligibility and subsidy amount. Approved CCS is generally paid directly to the service and applied to your account, leaving your family to pay the remaining gap fee.
Your result depends on your family’s circumstances, including income, children in care, recognised participation and the type of approved care used.
- Apply through your linked myGov account
- Provide the centre with the required Customer Reference Numbers
- Confirm your child’s enrolment details in myGov
- Keep family income and activity information current
